UFC Recognizes Informed Choice as an Accredited Certification Agency

Joins sister program Informed Sport in recognition by the global mixed martial arts organization

Lexington, Kentucky (January 14, 2021) - The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced the recognition of Informed Choice as an accredited certification agency. After an update to their Anti-Doping Policy in 2019, UFC athletes are directed to only use supplements tested and certified by an accredited certification agency. Based on the policy, “Athletes will not receive an anti-doping policy violation if they can establish by clear and convincing evidence that their positive test was due to the contamination of a supplement certified by an accredited agency.” The recognition is a huge step for Informed Choice and our mission to minimize the risk of banned substance contamination within sports supplement products.
