Product Assessment Questionnaire

For every product submitted for registration with INFORMED-CHOICE a product assessment questionnaire must be completed.

Product Testing to ISO17025 STANDARDS

The INFORMED-CHOICE testing specification has been developed through the analysis of over 8000 supplement samples over 6 years.

Pre Registration Testing

In order for a product to be registered with INFORMED-CHOICE, a minimum of 5 sample products.

Post Registration Blind Testing

INFORMED-CHOICE offers a level of risk-management to its Members and provides the consumer with a high degree of confidence in each registered product.

Logo use and web directory

All INFORMED-CHOICE registered products are entitled to use the appropriate INFORMED-CHOICE (level 1 or 2) logo.

Stage 1: Product Assessment Questionnaire

Drawing from many years of experience in supplement analysis, the questionnaire evaluates the integrity of the manufacturing stages from supply of raw materials, through third party manufacturing, into packaging and storage.

Coordinated by the program’s Central Administrator, recommendations to proceed to pre-registration testing are submitted to the Independent Board for approval. Independent Board

The Board makes available a range of expertise to allow Informed-Choice to consider all aspects of the supplement industry – with an overall advisory remit to protect the integrity of the program.
